McCoy's Contractor Network Terms of Use

Thank you for your interest in the McCoy’s Contractor Network Directory. The directory is a free online service that we are pleased to make available to you. Before using the directory, please read the terms of use set out below carefully. They govern your access to and use of the directory.

McCoy’s Building Supply invites certain contractors who are our customers to become members of the McCoy’s Contractor Network and to list their businesses and services in the directory. It is very important to note that we have not investigated, reviewed or evaluated the contractor in any manner, including, without limitation, the contractor’s capabilities, competency, skill or reliability, the quality of the contractor’s work, or the contractor’s license status, insurance coverage, financial strength, reputation, integrity or business practices. Thus, the inclusion of a contractor in the directory should not be viewed in any way as our guarantee, endorsement, approval or recommendation of the contractor or the contractor’s work.

The contractors listed in the directory are not employees, agents or contractors of McCoy’s Building Supply and are not otherwise connected to or affiliated with us in any manner other than being customers of McCoy’s Building Supply.

All content provided in a contractor’s listing was provided to us solely by the contractor. We have not reviewed, verified or approved of the content in any manner and thus do not accept any responsibility for it in any manner whatsoever. You should independently verify all information set out in a contractor’s listing that you deem important before hiring the contractor.

There are many excellent resources available that provide valuable guidance, tips and checklists for hiring the right contractor for your particular job. We have provided you a few tips for your quick reference and we strongly suggest you consult additional resources before hiring any contractor

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for carefully carrying out your own independent investigation of the contractors listed in the directory and for choosing a contractor that is right for your particular job. We disclaim all liability for, and you waive all claims you may have against us for, your use and reliance on the directory and for the acts, omissions, performance and work of any contractor you may select using the directory.

CONTRACTOR NETWORK TERMS OF USE

Please read these Terms of Use carefully:

McCoy’s Building Supply reserves the right to remove a Contractor from the McCoy’s Contractor Network Directory at any time for any reason. Contractor agrees to promptly respond to inquiries received regarding request for estimates resulting from McCoy’s Contractor Network Directory leads. Contractor agrees to use McCoy’s Building Supply as the primary supplier of building materials for their business. Contractor agrees to keep all McCoy’s Building Supply accounts in good standing (e.g. no NSF checks, no past due invoices). Contractor agrees that McCoy’s Building Supply shall bear no responsibility for payment of homeowner for any work performed. No employee of either shall be deemed to be in the employ of the other, nor shall either party have any right or authority to act on behalf of the other. Contractor agrees to maintain any necessary bonding, licensing, and insurance as needed for any project performed. Contractor agrees to accept feedback from their customers following job/project completion. Contractor shall not use the McCoy’s Building Supply logo or in any way represent his/her business as endorsed or recommended by McCoy’s Building Supply. Contractor may crosslink to McCoy’s Contractor Network Directory and may use the McCoy’s Contractor Network Directory ‘badge’/logo. Contractor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold McCoy’s Building Supply harmless from and against any demands, claims, charges, or liability of any kind arising out of any work performed by contractor, including, without limitation, claims by any customer, subcontractor or any other entity.
